Brian Johnson serves as a Research Analyst with Proving Ground. In this role, he performs data analytic work necessary for partner districts and organizations to test new interventions designed to help more students succeed. Prior to joining Center for Education Policy Research, Brian was a graduate student at the University of Michigan studying quantitative research methods, with a focus on education. He was involved with several NSF-funded policy research projects while a student. Before graduate school, he served in AmeriCorps as a community college student advisor.

Brian received his B.A. from Gettysburg College, a M.S.I. from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and an M.A., University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
